One of the region’s most warmly anticipated festivals, Queanbeyan Multicultural Festival, is back for another day full of great food, market stalls, sporting demonstrations, craft activities and dance performances.

Shannon’s Wheels Car Show 2020
Queanbeyan Showground, Queanbeyan
Come along and enjoy a trip down memory lane as you admire the outstanding vehicles on display at the annual Shannon’s Wheels Car Show. Showcasing cars from every decade since automation began, the show is a must-see for auto enthusiasts old and new.

American Song
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
The latest play from acclaimed Australian playwright Joanna Murray-Smith, American Song tackles the confronting and heartbreaking issue of gun violence. Hailed as gripping, wryly humorous and deeply moving, the play reaches beyond national or cultural borders in an intimate exploration of love, forgiveness and parental responsibility.

Patches Asphalt Rodeo
Queanbeyan Showground, Queanbeyan
Back in Queanbeyan for its 20th year, the famous Patches Asphalt Rodeo welcomes families to come along to enjoy even more surprises than ever before. The show is set to be bigger and better than ever, presenting all major rodeo events as well as a Side Show Alley and children’s activities for families to enjoy.

IWD 2020 Girls Rock! Fundraiser
Smokey Horse, Braidwood
What better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than with some fine female musical talent from Braidwood and surrounds! Featuring the amazing Hedy Blaazer, Sesame Girl and Cathy Diver with locals such as The Perfs, Lily Morris and Meagan+Dan supporting, it is a night you can’t miss.

The Beanies EGG-straordinary Day
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
Best known for their award-winning podcast ‘The Beanies Imagination Station’ on Kinderling Kids’ Radio, this energetic three-piece band is a guaranteed crowdpleaser for both the little ones and the parents. Join Laura, Mim and Michael Beanie as they do the Silly Dizzy Dance, sing Saturday Morning Cuddles and even have a Painting Party.

Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges Live at RHQ
The Royal Hotel, Queanbeyan
The American blues and soul singersongwriter, Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges, is returning to Australia with a wonderful songbook of original tunes that he has written and recorded over the past two decades.

Angels and Waratahs Art Exhibition
The Queanbeyan Hive, Queanbeyan
Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature with Queanbeyan Hive’s latest exhibition. Angels and Waratahs features hauntingly beautiful paintings by Majors Creek artist Jane Ahlquist and powerfully earthy pieces by Queanbeyan ceramicist Galia Shy.

David Chynoweth Concert
St Andrews Anglican Church, Braidwood
Come hear the renowned organist David Chynoweth in concert at Braidwood’s St Andrews Anglican Church. Australianborn and Italy-based, David is offering 50% of the concert takings to a nominated Braidwood bushfire relief fund.

Counterpoint Ceramic Exhibition
Altenburg & Co, Braidwood
In her first solo exhibition, emerging artist Katrina Leske explores the oppositions of nature and culture, and the human impact on earth, through controlled yet organic forms.

Leaving Jackson – Tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
Take a step back in time with Jeff Carter and Brooke McMullen’s captivating and unforgettable musical concert featuring the famous songs ‘Walk the Line’, ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ and the iconic ‘Ring of Fire’. Perfectly recreating the dynamic Johnny and June shared, it is an unmissable 2-hour concert for one night only.

Rap Thali – Harmony Hip Hop
Smokey Horse, Braidwood
Come and see Braidwood’s first ever hip hop show at Smokey Horse on Wallace Street. Welcoming a diverse line-up of rappers and DJs, including triple j Unearthed artists Maleezy and WeirdoGvng, as well as Gabbadoo, Jemist and Karuna, it is guaranteed to be a night you won’t forget.

Contentious Cabaret
Contentious Character, Wamboin
A dinner with a twist, Contentious Character is organising a night to remember. Complete with an award-winning burlesque dancer, a circus performer, a contortionist and fire dancer, a dark and mysterious contact juggler and a fiery pole dancer, it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before.

Stayin’ Alive – Tribute to The Bee Gees
Braidwood Servicemen’s Club, Braidwood
If you’re a fan of The Bee Gees, this is one concert you can’t afford to miss. A magical celebration of the timeless music of Barry Gibb and The Bee Gees, this superb one man audio-visual experience honours their musical and vocal brilliance while providing all the fun and energy for which the Bee Gees are famous against a backdrop of live concert footage.
