Bungendore Country Music Muster

Bungendore’s Country Music Muster is celebrating its 35th Anniversary with a great weekend of All Australian Country Music. The big weekend kicks off with a busking competition on Saturday morning, followed by entertainment by over twenty great Australian country music artists throughout the weekend.

Holy Trinity Cheesemaking, Cooking & Pairing with Lunch
Contentious Character, Wamboin
Learn how to make and pair your own mozzarella and ricotta at Contentious Character – complete with a halloumi dish prepared by the chef and a delicious tasting plate of cheese and something sweet to finish.

Four Wheel Drive Spectacular
Queanbeyan Showground, Queanbeyan
4WD and outdoor enthusiasts are in for a treat as Four Wheel Drive Spectacular comes back into town. Featuring over one hundred vehicle, accessory and outdoor recreation exhibitors, an exciting 4WD test track, education seminars, food stalls and activities for kids, it’s a great day out for all of the family to learn about responsible and recreational use of four wheel drive vehicles.

Tom Curtain’s ‘We Are Still Here’ Tour
Braidwood Showground, Braidwood
A show for all ages, Tom Curtain’s latest tour includes entertaining and educational demonstrations with Katherine Outback Experience horses and dogs, followed by an hour of live music with special guests. Highlighting the resilience of people on the land, the show is a great opportunity for communities to get together.

Festival One
Queanbeyan Park, Queanbeyan
Festival One celebrates the region’s diverse community and inclusion while raising funds for RFS and those affected by the recent bushfires. Come along and reconnect with community members of all cultures, ages, nationalities and abilities.

Cologne Philharmonica
St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Braidwood
Aiming to inspire as many people as possible across all generations to enjoy classical music, the renowned and exceptionally talented Cologne Philharmonica returns to Australia with a powerful new programme.

RHQ Bushfire Relief Gala
The Royal Hotel, Queanbeyan
As the devastation of Australia’s bushfire continues, RHQ have joined forces with Dimitries Jewellers and Dak & Co as well as other local businesses to raise funds and show their support for those affected. Aiming to raise funds for BlazeAid and Braidwood Life Centre, the gala tickets include food and drinks, silent and live auctions, door prizes and a raffle, and entertainment by Smooth Ops.

Tribute to the Carpenters – Lisa Budin Price
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
Get ready to be entertained when the charismatic Lisa Budin Price takes the stage to pay tribute to the brother and sister duo, the Carpenters. She will wow you with anecdotes and stories of the famous siblings and their rise to fame and stardom.

Hell Ship
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
Renowned for his artful and tender characters and ability to transfix an audience with a sense of awe, Michael Veitch brings his latest show detailing the tragic true story of the nightmare voyage of emigrant vessel Ticonderoga to the Q.

Spice Night
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
A night of trailblazing queer comedy from across Asia, these four international comedy stars are the new sound of the Asian century. Breaking the rules and queering the mic from Mumbai to Manila, these out, proud and hilarious performers are furiously funny.

H.M.S. Pinafore
The Q Performing Arts Centre, Queanbeyan
Set sail on the high seas with Gilbert & Sullivan’s beloved comedy of starcrossed lovers, mismatched marriages and mistaken identities. Award winning director, Kate Gaul, makes her Hayes Theatre Co debut with this re-imagined, gender -bending, hyper-theatrical and kinky take on this Gilbert & Sullivan classic.

Music by the River
Queen Elizabeth Park II, Queanbeyan
Join the Canberra Symphony Orchestra for an evening of orchestral classics from Mozart, Vivaldi, Haydn, Elgar and others, held on the serene banks of the Queanbeyan River. Allocated seating will be open, food will be served and the river will be lapping at the shore ready for a night of music from 4pm onwards.
