About

Get ready to shop up a storm as you uncover antique treasures on this road trip that will lead you through some of the region’s most popular antique shops selling furniture, homeware, vintage clothing and accessories, vinyl and other curiosities.

Bungendore

Starting from Queanbeyan, get onto the Kings Highway to start your antiques road trip through Queanbeyan-Palerang. Your first destination is Bungendore, home to three antique shops and a quaint little op shop loved by the locals. First up, stop by at The Malbon collective on the right of the first roundabout as you come into the village. The collective houses both the popular Village Antiques as well as Antica Trading. Next, head to Deniston Cottage Antiques on Molonglo Street. Here, you will find pure Primitive Colonial Cedar and Pine furniture, electric lamps, antique prints and art, set in an 1878 stone cottage. Next up, make sure to pop by Phil’s Emporium Op Shop located in the Anglican Church Hall in Bungendore. On Saturday mornings, the venue also plays host to the Southern Harvest Farmers Market.
