The Two Fires Festival of Arts and Activism is a biennial event held in Braidwood NSW since 2005. The festivals celebrate the legacy of Judith Wright, one of Australia’s greatest poets. Judith lived the last decades of her life in Braidwood, a small historic town in southeast NSW. She was a passionate public intellectual, as well as a leading social activist particularly in the areas of the environment and Indigenous rights.
The 2019 Festival has the theme of Food Health and Healing Land, and the program encompasses native and local food, art and literature, local environmental activism, Indigenous culture and regenerative farming.
