Learn how to create striking leaf prints and eco-dye from home using homemade iron mordant, old material and local plants. Using Eucalyptus and other native plants we will bundle dye on reclaimed cotton fabric. This workshop is great for beginners to experienced textile artists wanting to learn more about the natural dyeing process.
Your facilitator, Josephine Cosgrove is a visual artist from Canberra, specialising in photographic, mixed media and textile arts. She is a passionate art-science educator and has taught adults and children in photography, drawing, bookcraft, microscopy, natural dyeing and more. She owns and operates a photography business, Dream Pieces, providing creative portraiture and other photographic services.
